In terms of construction, similar to the wider QST with indented cutting, honeycomb in tip and tail, sandwich construction and CFX 3 superfiber which is a mixture of carbon fiber and flax. Like the QST 106, it also has 99 basalt in the construction, which gives a safer ski on hard and uneven snow. Flatter tails than the wider siblings provide better response and power transmission on harder surfaces and the tipper lifts the tips over fallen fresh snow or unevenness in the piste. The titanal-reinforced FX96 Ti yields uncompromising performance, whether it’s challenging backcountry or big fat turns on corduroy. Thanks to DUAL RISE, this ski turns easily and is versatile enough for all conditions.
